We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and organizing the testing efforts of the Quality Assurance team to ensure adequate product testing of our software products prior to their scheduled releases.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the testing efforts of the QA team to ensure adequate product testing of all software prior to release, in an efficient and timely manner.
• Manage QA team's tasks on a daily basis.
• Work with product Team Leads to create Test Plans for all major releases.
• Work with product Team Leads to create test strategies for new product functionalities.
• Work with Test Automation Lead to implement additional automated testing procedures and ensure coverage throughout each product.
• Monitor test progress throughout the product release cycle, provide test results and detailed status reports, ensure the testing deadlines are met.
• Collect metrics and utilize other effective approaches to measure quality whereby increasing testing efficiency and improving product quality.
• Provide leadership, performance reviews, recruitment, training and career development for QA staff members.
• Develop, define and implement QA standards, processes and procedures for the QA group.
• Oversee all QA activities; ensure that milestones and deliverables are met.
• Participate in problem resolution and relationship building efforts.
• Work with Development Director to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Utilize bug tracking tools already in use by our company.

Experience:

• 5 years+ software Quality Assurance experience.
• 2 years+ managing a QA team.
• Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches including automated testing.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
• Technical competence, track record of strong testing skills and technical accomplishment.
• Able to mentor QA team members, give advice and direction, and provide hands-on management.
• Driven, creative, and result oriented.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms and software tools.
• Good understanding of product development and product life-cycle in highly technical environments.
• Knowledgeable in product quality metrics analysis and assessment.
• Skilled at developing test goals, objectives and test strategy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to produce high quality results and work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
